Hope you're well. Thank you very much indeed. As always for being here. As you can hear from my voice,

I am not in what you would call tip-top shape. I've been on well pretty much all week,

started feeling bad in the early hours of Tuesday morning, woke up, couldn't get back to sleep,

had that terrible thing where I don't know if this happens to you or not, but if I can't get to

sleep or if I wake up and I can't get back to sleep, my brain goes into this kind of, I don't know if

you call it overdrive, but it's sort of, there's a lot going on and then it gets fixated on one

thing and it's usually a song, a piece of a song, not just a whole song, but like just a snippet of

a song over and over and over and you're lying, they're going off, fuck, shut up song. I don't even

like this song. Why is this song going around in my head? Pretty much everybody you talk to,

or I've spoken to anyway here is like, oh yeah, you're sick, yeah, I had that last week or my wife

had that last, oh the kids had that last week, yeah, oh I know, my aunt had that, she's been in,

so there's some kind of cold or respiratory thing going around, I did obviously do a test for

COVID, came up negative, I did another test, came up negative, so it's something else, it's not

flu, I don't think because if it was flu, I would be lying down on my face and I would not be talking

into a microphone, I can tell you so it's some kind of cold thing and it's, you know, jolly unpleasant,

but hey, hey, there are worse things in the world I guess and I'm just feeling maybe a little bit

sorry for myself, which I think I'm entitled to do on my own podcast, nevertheless, we have a show

for you today and obviously it's, what's the word I'm looking for here? Precludes, no, preludes,

it's, it's, fuck, see this is what, this is what happens, my brain doesn't, it's a prelude to

the return of football perhaps, that's what I was trying to say, I had the words in my head
