Like, this is the funny thing. Someone reached out on Discord and they're like, oh, you're going to be scared to hit that publish button today, aren't you? They're going to announce Rice and I was like, yeah, but then I was like, what's left to say? Literally the only thing left to say is Declan Rice has been announced as an Arsenal player. Like, it has been absolutely covered to death. And you know what? Urien Timber has as well, for that matter. So there's no need to talk about that stuff. I think one of the things

we can talk about today that might be interesting. And to be clear, there's not much to talk about today that might be interesting. He says, hoping you'll listen to the podcast, you've already started it. So I think from a metric standpoint, we're fine. You're good. You're free to go. I want to talk a little bit about preseason and what we want to see in preseason and what the unanswered questions are

for preseason and what we want to

see in preseason and what the unanswered questions are for preseason because we've played a behind

closed doors game. One one, disgraceful, taking the pride out of it, Mikkel, against Watford. We have a

Nuremberg game coming up this week and then it it's off to America, he says, from America,

but off to America for the club.

And it'll be interesting to see what everybody's senses of what the preseason is going to deliver for us.

I mean, last summer, I think preseason was a big reason why I believed something special could happen that season.

There was just a change,

a big lurch forward that you could tell from the formation, from the way players were being used,

from the quality of our attack. And I'm curious to see what this preseason holds for us. So we will touch on that. We might touch on some departures behind the scenes, Steve Brown,

Gary O'Driscoll. There's one or two bits and pieces. Of course, we can talk about Maddie Turner stopping penalties, Arsenal goalkeeper and penalty stopping shocker, and see what people think about that. And that should give us a podcast. So I think we're going to be okay. I think it's going to be reasonable Monday. And thank you for hanging with us.

One last thing to note, we did our first office hours session in Discord of our Patreon. I had a hell of a lot of fun doing it. I want to thank the patrons because, as you can imagine, the first one, there were some technical challenges. We got through it together. We figured out why. And now we were all set up to do it. What it basically is a big room where everyone can hang out.

And in this instance, I chatted to a bunch of different patrons one at a time, not like a whole big mass of nonsense. And people were able to take me up on my terrible opinions. We could talk about why and wherefore and some gossip and things like that. We'll be doing that again with Clive and Tim and Paul and

fewer technical disruption. So thanks to the people who got through it with us. I know sometimes

getting into Discord once you sign up is a thing that you have to figure out. It's actually
