What is up, you spooky bitches? Welcome back to another episode of the Hello Sydney podcast,

0:04.9

a podcast for horror lovers where we discuss any and all things horror. And it's me, your host,

0:09.9

Sydney. Happy Friday. How's everybody's day? What have you been up to? What have you been watching?

0:15.5

It is incredibly gloomy here. It has been all week. If you're watching this on video, you can probably

0:20.5

tell because usually I feel like it's a lot brighter because I use the natural light. gloomy here. It has been all week. If you're watching this on video, you can probably tell

0:21.1

because usually I feel like it's a lot brighter because I use the natural light. It's been snowing

0:25.9

here all week and raining. But honestly, I feel like it kind of goes with the somber mood of today's

1:30.3

that have been going on in America towards black communities for years, for centuries.

1:36.6

And this movie again came out in 1995 and it's still applicable.

1:39.9

It's still relevant.

1:41.6

It talks about police brutality and gang violence and hatred in politics. Like it's still relevant. It talks about police brutality and gang violence and hatred in politics.

1:47.0

Like, it's all incredibly relevant. And I don't think this movie gets enough credit for the message that it conveys.

1:54.0

And again, it's really deep and it's really dark. So fair wording about that. But again, there are some comedic elements because it is kind of
