is the murder of SoulSinger Sam Cook. Okay. So, and it actually happened in Los Angeles too. So it's

Del Mississippi. And he was one of eight children born to Reverend Charles and Annie Cook.

The family actually moved to Chicago in 1933. So I think Sam was born in 1931. So he's only a few

years old when they left Mississippi. But the Reverend had that typical like southern kind of fiery

preacher thing going. And that was a pretty big hit in Chicago. So he started attracting like

quite a following once they moved up to Chicago. And that was where Sam actually first started singing.
