This is the podcast where we read books we are not expecting to like.

We, of course, being me, Connor Lestoka, and you, Mike Nelson.

And we're finishing up a book 11 today, which is called Moon People by Dale M. Courtney.

And by finishing it up, kind of finishing it up, but you really get the sense that moon people, the slim volume

I'm holding in my hand right now, the 79 page volume, sort of like a kill bill type of thing,

or like the last Twilight movie for a while, there was the trend, the last Harry Potter movie,

where they really just had

one movie. They decided to make it into two, or in this case, three, just to cash in. I don't

think anyone ever pretended otherwise. Yeah, maybe it's like the Lord of the Rings, the,

was it Ralph Bakshi? Is that the animator? I'm not going to try to pronounce his name because is he in that dead zone for you? Well, it's like one of those things where I've just seen it, but I've never really said it out loud. I think it's Bakshi, but it's not Baski. Everyone was excited. I, a, you know, high school nerd, like there's a Lord of the Rings film. And then we went to see it and it just, and it did not say it's only going to cover a small portion of the first book and just end in the middle of it. So that was a crashing disappointment. This, however, he can end it wherever he wants and I am fine with us. Sure. Yeah. I'm not complaining about it. I'm just, I wouldn't do it that way myself.
