should our ravenous hunger go wrong. Ooh! And of course, while these facts are all very true, we are talking today about

Antonia Bird's 1999 film Ravenous. That's right, it's February. It's Women in Horror Month. For better or for worse,

Ravenous is one of the five films I always hear trotted out every single year

Women in Horror Month. Well, we don't need women in Horror Month.

I can think of five films that women directed in horror.

Ravenous pops up in a lot of those, but hey, it's a great film.

It's a great film.

It's one that every couple months, one of you listeners will pop up with a like,

So it's one that I saw years ago and I liked and I've been meaning to revisit and I'm so

Stoped that we did for this episode. It's a joy of a film. I almost feel like we don't deserve this film because it's such an oddball and it was made

by a subsidiary of a major studio, Fox 2000. What a strange little production history has as well.

Complete cluster fuck of production.

Total bomb at the box office.

But now 20 years later, being reappreciated, I'd like to think, I found a lot of articles about this
