You ready to do some exodus?

I'm ready to do it.

Let's exodus is up.

Yeah, I think we're we're going to get plagued here pretty quick. We're not quite there, but we're gonna we're gonna jump head first into plagues here here. I think in chapter 7. So we're kind of kind of lead up to that and maybe get into a little bit of a Nile turning into blood today. We'll see how things go.

Okay, let's do it.

All right, so last time, we focus quite a bit on the opening section, first section of

chapter six of Exodus, and this is after things went very poorly for

Moses and Aaron they they went to meet with Pharaoh and Pharaoh took away the

straw from the Israelite brickmakers and anyway

it ended up just kind of being a really a really mess for Moses and Aaron things did not go at all like they had intended.

In fact, they went worse.

So, Moses goes to God and complains basically and says every since I got down here things have only

become worse so what's up and then God in these opening verses of chapter six

reassures Moses and tells Moses that look everything is going to work out

I am the Lord that's one of the recurring phrases in this section. I am Yawe. Meaning, I am the God who is going to be with you and is going to work for you and is going to bring about your ultimate

redemption. Now I'm not saying it's going to be easy, I'm not saying it's going to be fast, I'm not saying it's going to work according to the way you think it should but I am

Yaway and I will deliver you and redeem you and bring you all the way to the land
