Hello, thanks for joining us again. This is the last episode before we take a break for

Easter. Episode 8 will be in two weeks time with another two episodes to go after that and

we snuck an extra one in there. So it feels like a good point to take a look at where we're up to so far and how we got here. A sort of previously on Paradise if you will.

We said like to tell a story we thought we're ready. on Paradise, if you will.

We set out to tell a story we thought we already knew about Chris Farmer and Peter Frampton, who

were killed in Guatemala in 1978 by Silas Duane, Boston. Boston was arrested 38 years later after his two sons

came forward to say they had witnessed the whole thing. Now that last part of course was

the first to unravel from that very first phone call with Vince, it was clear that he'd actually been trying for years to get people to listen.

I even tried calling Scotland Yard and that went nowhere. So now we had a big question to answer. Why did it take so long?

The other big shake-up happened when Dan and I met Lexi Nagin, Boston's public defender.

Lexi turned everything on its head, giving us a completely different narrative.

She placed doubt over whether the bodies pulled from the water and buried in the Portobaria Cemetery

were actually those of Kristen Peter.

And she presented this with a potential motive and method for Vince and Russell Boston to frame their father.

So suddenly we had an even bigger question

did Silas Twain Boston really kill Peter and Chris?

And we've made some progress in answering that.

We've spoken to his half-sister Arthine. She said he was a violent man and

she wouldn't put it past him. But then Arthine was basing that on

Boston having murdered his wife Mary Lou and Arthine was told that by her mother
