In White Bear Lake, which Lydow Lake is a bunch of nicer area than I thought it was.

I always thought of it as car places. It's not just car places. For our first, whatever, five, six episodes of this, the rule has been that I'm going to travel, like, up to three miles from my front door. And I was a little bit hesitant to come here because I thought it was so far away. but you know 30 minutes from Hopkins and it's not that bad it's a great place and speaking to

Jamie Ogden who's one of the

owners of this place, and former Twins Minor Leaguer, he said White Bear Lake, which I did not know,

was sort of the original resort town of the Twin Cities. People used to come up here to hang out

by the lake, and it kind of feels a little bit like a shore town like it's just kind of laid

out like that um we're at manitow station like i said to one by the invitation of jamey hoggin

along with the twin centric event and i gotta tell you man i'm impressed with manitow station it's a

gorgeous gorgeous inside apparently they built this where a gas station used to be. And I got to tell you, the bar area.

I'm a big fan of the bar area. Yeah, it's great. This is way classier than the joints we're usually

doing these podcasts from, I got to say. According to J.B., his partners went and toured bars all

around Ireland and took pictures of all of the backs of them, the bar areas of them,

and incorporated the ones they liked best into their bar area and designed it that way.

And at one point they went through and visited 52 Irish pubs in 10 days.

Took a trip and visited 52 Irish pubs.

I had a Guinness at each one of them in 10 days.
