So let me just give you a little backstory.

One of the things that I've never done before is I'm very, you know, I get this from my husband.

I'm sort of cheap when it comes to spending money on certain things.

And for me, I really didn't want to spend money on professional development.

I really thought that I could just educate myself with all the free stuff that was out there.

I could watch YouTube videos.

I could read books.

I could watch, you know, podcast or listen to podcast.

And I'm going to be quite honest with you. You know, I know now that surrounding myself with people in the flesh is very different than listening to a podcast

or watching a broadcast of an event on the computer. And so I said, you know, in 2017,

I'm going to invest in at least two professional development events for myself that are going to

grow me as a leader. And so Andre leadership was one of those events that number one was expensive,

right? It's an expensive event to go to, but I will tell you that it is paid off in so many
