Excited to be back with you today as we continue to move through the month of July

and continue to get closer to the start of fall camp.

We're about three and a half weeks

from Tennessee opening up fall practice to begin the first season under head coach Jeremy

Pruitt. I'm excited for today's show. Today we're going to talk about guys that could make a leap

from year one to year two, guys that have a chance to play a bigger role for Tennessee. Trey Smith played a big role last year, so he won't be on the list.

You know that Trey Smith is going to be very important for Tennessee.

Might be Tennessee's best player this year if he's able to be cleared and returned to action.

So guys that participated last year in year one at Tennessee that have a chance to make a leap entering year

two for the balls. Also, Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports, as a year ago, he said Butch Jones was the

coach on the hottest seat in all of college football. I think he called that one pretty well,

because Tennessee went four and eight, and Butch Jones, as you know, was fired in the middle

of the season. So what did Tom Fornelly think about Tennessee's coaching search, which

ultimately landed Jeremy Pruitt? And now that Tennessee is months removed from that messy saga,

what does he think about the Vols moving forward now? That's coming up on today's show. Plus,

something I'm going to try to do each show between now and the start of fall camp,

and that's getting to know the newcomers.
