Hey, everyone, thanks so much for joining me today on episode number seven of the Sheeproves Faithful podcast. I thought I'd try something a little new, which is an impromptu show, because both my kids are napping at the same time, which is kind of miraculous, and my husband is away at his brother's bachelor party.

So I thought I'd grab the microphone and crank out a little podcast talking about some of the highlights of our week and then some things that are kind of working against us, maybe to give

you guys some encouragement and help me practice not being so scripted. I don't know if you guys have

noticed, but I write out my podcast and I talk, but I really love having exactly what I want to say

or forms of it. And sometimes I think I need to practice maybe being not so scripted. So this should be

interesting. I hope you enjoy it. All right. So I wanted to talk about

some of my highlights this week from the Lushak family household. That's me and my husband. And I have two

kiddos, River and Asa. We do family worship in this house. And this is something that we had never

really thought about or heard

much about until about three years ago we went to the Colorado Home Educators. Nope, I always get it

wrong. The Christian Home Educators of Colorado conference. It's like the super conference on the family

and it's this holistic kind of

conference to tell you about Jesus, to encourage you as moms and dads of how to raise up

your children in a Christian culture and your household, how to give them a Christian education,

how to love each other as husband and

wife, and train up your children in the way they should go, all of that. It's absolutely fantastic.

This is how crazy we are. The first time we went to this conference, our daughter was just over a

year old, and we only had one kid. And this is, you know, primarily a homeschool

conference. So we jump started the game because we were invited by members of our church. And we
