Hey, in this episode, this is episode seven, and we are studying

second Nephi one through five. We're diving into second Nephi. The famous story of Nephi

and his brothers in the wilderness has kind of ended. And now we move into some of the more

doctrinally dense chapters of the Book of Mormon.

In this particular episode, we are searching for truths that will wake us up spiritually.

And we'll talk a lot more about that right after we talk about our study tip first.

And today we're going to take our study tip directly from Nephi I

think that's a pretty good person to to get a study tip from so we're gonna from the

scripture block in second Nephi chapter four verses 15 and 16 Nephi says I write the things

of my soul and many of the scriptures which are engraven upon the plates of brass.

For my soul delighteth in the scriptures, and my heart pondereth them, and writeth them for the learning and the prophet of my children.

Behold, my soul delighteth in the things of the Lord, and my heart pondereth continually upon the things which I have seen and heard.

I like those. We think this is a great study tip to remember, is, you know, we've talked a lot about

studying and reading and all these other study tips, but I like his emphasis here on pondering the

scriptures. We don't necessarily have to be reading to be studying.
