Welcome in to episode 698 of After the Whistle. A lot of good responses to the Henrik

Deleander discussion yesterday. It's great to see him and chat with him. I look forward to seeing

him in January. After we chatted with Hank, I went and dug up that 0506 photo of all the guys along the boards.

And I posted that on Twitter.

And if you look at who I'm sitting between,

I'm between J.P. Dumont and Danny Breyer and Vanick is next to Danny.

Yep.

How I weaseled my way into this group, okay, was they did the photos.

Like if you notice, it's just one long bench.

There's no glass, right?

Right.

So what the guy did, and his name was Mark Dallas, a very talented photographer.

I think he did the magazine traffic. and he did great stuff. And I really

like Mark. And he took pictures of the guys on the bench in groups of four. And then it's all

kind of collage together, Photoshop together. So it looks like one long row row but he was doing them in groups of four

and the four of us were down at the end i think playing juice boy or something because the

practice was over and guys were guys were getting ready for these photos and the coaches had

already gotten off the ice and you know the coaches did their photos and so we were just all

screwing around on the ice and i think van jp and danny might have been playing juice boy or something

or that shoot a breakaway game and we were the last four that hadn't gone in the photo so that's how

i ended up with vanic brier and dumont in the photo, okay? Because it's like

Sesame Street, you know, which one of these just doesn't belong? You know what I mean? So,
