I'm Chad Dundas. That's Ben Fulks. We're both longtime MMA journalists, and for nearly the last 14 years,

we've been meeting here every week to break down all the action in the wild, weird,

and occasionally wonderful world of mixed martial arts.

Ben, not a particularly earth-shattering weekend of news from the UFC after heading up there

to Winnipeg and letting Mike Malott retire Gilbert Burns.

However, still kind of a lot to talk about this Tuesday, especially in the wake of

WrestleMania 42, which seemed to leave a lot of wrestling fans feeling a certain kind of way,

perhaps a way that MMA fans have been feeling about the on-air product for a while now.

So some interesting stuff to discuss there, not to mention Brock Lesnar leaving his gloves in

the ring after doing the J.O.B. to Obafemi at Mania. If that does indeed turn out to be Lesnar's last ride, we might look to put his athletic

journey into some kind of perspective this week for what that's worth. Ben, before we get into that,

though, May is the CME's 14th birthday next month. You know it is.

Hard to fathom how long we've been doing this.

But like we always do about this time of year,

we're celebrating with Pledge Month all month long in May.

It's a fun stretch for everybody and also a very important time of the year for the CME because any potential gains we make next

month are what keep us going for the rest of the year. And this year, we're definitely going to

need some help from the CME listening audience. We got some fun stuff planned for Pledge Month.
