Greetings dear listeners this is Jonah Goldberg. We're bringing you a second

podcast this week we decided one we wanted to do it one because we want to do more

than one week when possible. It's a little hot it's been a little harder than

normal and two it dawned on us that this would be that we had not done any

punditry for the midterms and this is the last podcast before the world

historic midterms on Tuesday so what I did was actually yesterday we had

logistical problems trying to figure out how we could get this guy Ben Sass on to

talk about his book which seemed like something we should do given how often

he's on here and how he's a friend of the podcast as it were and so I

recorded an interview a conversation with him from home yesterday this is

Wednesday thanks in part to the help of Scott Immergut who our friend from

Ricochet who helped coordinate it and so we're gonna play that now and then on

the back and Jack and I will discuss various and sundry things in the news and

I will give you my midterm predictions such as they are and that's about it so

I'll see you on the other side now here's Senator Ben Sass and his book on giant
