Ever who knows one of my best friends Kevin Barnett died on Tuesday

morning and you know it's it's been a tough week to process but I just thought know, I'd spend this time for those of you who don't know Kevin just to tell you about him, and you should look up some of his stuff.

The reason, the only reason, literally, the only reason Kevin was never on this podcast is because he worked so

fucking hard and was busy making television all the time and doing comedy.

If you don't know Kevin he's an amazing stand-up comic.

He wrote for, he was the show run, he was the head writer of this show,

Friends of the People, that was a sketch show.

The exact same time I was on Saturday Night Live, him and his friends were making this sketch show for True TV that just looks so fucking fun.

It was him so fun. The

Jermaine Fowler and the Lucas Brothers and Lil Rel and

and I can't just other it was just so fun.

Their show was great.

I would skateboard home from 30 Rock and stop at their offices and just see them

having fun and kick it with them and I always wanted to be in that sketch group because

they were having so much fun and so he was a head of that show and then he bounced and he wrote over on the Carmichael

show for a while and made that show great and then he wrote on Broad City, he wrote on the

Eric Andre show,

then he created the show, Rell, with Josh Rubinowitz,

and they made that show.

And that's why he was so busy, ever since I started this podcast,
