I am Ted King.

This is King of the Ride podcast, and we've got a gooden in store.

So perhaps you caught wind of my recent trip into the high country, namely the Arkansas High Country,

namely the Arkansas High Country bicycle race.

My first go at a bike packing race.

This was a self-supported 1,020 mile ride through the NWA Northwest Arkansas.

It was wild. It was an adventure in every sense of the word. It was me

entirely out of my element, with the exception that I like riding my bike. Only this ride makes

any of my previous bike rides up until now look minuscule.

So with loads of supportive comments and questions coming in from all directions,

before, during, and especially afterwards, I thought it would be fun to make a little project here.

We put the explicit request out there to send near questions.

Literally hundreds upon hundreds of questions were submitted.

Laura very generously volunteered to call through them to see what themes were popular.

And then she has handed the mic and becomes host of this show.

So insert screechy record scratch noise.
