And as you can probably tell from the sound of my voice, I don't know where the hangover ends and the jet lag begins. I am back in the land of ice and snow, but I am thrilled to be back in front of my traditional recording equipment so that I can speak to these fine gentlemen

staring back at me about a weekend that will live in the memory for a long, long time,

both for footballistic and other reasons.

I thought about doing one of those epic, what they call in the business, cold opens.

You know what I mean?

You have a recording all queued up and you're ready to use it.

And then Andrew, of Arscast fame, posted a a picture the wave form of what he had cooking to start the arscast. And I looked at it and it was like seeing the invincibles in the tunnel. I was like, well, I can't, I don't know what that is, but I know I can't do it. So we'll leave the cold opens to him and we'll leave the Jaeger bombs to me. I think it was 200 at the Tollington at full time. More on that, Anon. Here's what I think we got to do today. And by the way, no Tim today because Arsenal won another cup yesterday. All we do is win, win, win, no matter what. So he's got stuff going on, but he'll be back this week and we'll get his perspective. I think we should start the pod with the VAR decisions and the errors we made on the goals we conceded.

No, I'm kidding.

Let's start with the celebration, the emotion, the impact of it, because that is really the shot heard around the world.

I imagine, like me, you got very little sleep this weekend after the game, just from

scrolling every social media account you might have access to. Hopefully, you'll listen to our

instant reaction over on Patreon, which I think Paul did a, yeah, let's say a great, a great job

doing. Clive and I did one from the ground as well. So we'll do the emotion. We'll do the experience.

It was a great job. It cost you nothing. And I did. I got there at the end, much like Arsenal. 97th minute.

I got the compliment out. And Paul did a yeoman's job actually covering for me while I was gone for
