This is the Arsenal Vision postmatch podcast. My name's Ellie, Timothy Blackman, Twitter, Yankee Gunner. That's right. We're all today trying to decide if the season is over. If that's it, it's done. While having to blink a few times and refresh the web page we're looking at, as it tells us we are still sitting top of the table with a game in

hand.

Granted, we're not technically top of the table.

We're second on goal difference.

But, you know, we're there.

We're tied on points and we have a game in hand.

It is really, really hard because as I look out into the conversations being had, both, you

know, among friends on WhatsApp and, you know, on social

media, there's a lot of, can we still finish top four? You know, can we, can we still make

Europe? Like, there's, there's a lot of, um, catastrophizing. And I totally understand it and connect

to it emotionally. But the players and the managers sure don't have the luxury of connecting to that because they must feel and should rightly feel that they are still in the thick of a title race. And at the end of the day, if we match city's results the rest of the way, we're champions. It's that simple, right, with the game in hand, right? Obviously, any point from that game in hand, if we match their results and take anything from the game in hand, we're champions. They've got Champions League, we've got Europa League, they've got FA Cup. It's not going to be straightforward. There's probably going to be more twists and turns. I do accept that we look like we're in a slump now and it has to be arrested immediately. Whoever's guilty of this slump needs to be arrested immediately, preferably,

you know, Manchester City's players, that might help us. But, you know, aside from that,

like, we do need, we do need to obviously get this back on track. But so one of the things I want

to do to start this pod today is really try to contextualize where we are emotionally, where we are

in the season and, and where we are emotionally, where we are in the

season and where we're headed now, we'll go through the game. A first half that I think had a lot

to it and felt like the occasion that was built up, a second half that to me didn't feel that way,
