Summary

A Texas Hold'em cram session If I ever would have gotten into Chip's game, this is what I would have liked to have recorded and then played for myself on the drive over immediately before the game to try and remember how to play cards. I would then deny making and listening to a home made strategy guide to prepare for that game. All poker information comes from Doyle Brunson's book The Super System from 1978.

for maybe three months until I forgot about it. I was trying to get a

seat at that fucking card game so bad. I just wanted to play. I'm not even very good I know the mechanics of how

1:15.2

Holdham is kind of supposed to work and actually I know it more now because I

went through doing this episode. But anyway I would have loved to sit at that table just because of the shit-talking possibilities of it. Now, Chip didn't extend that invite for a number of reasons I totally

understand looking back on it. One, I'm a co-worker and he's technically my boss

1:39.0

you can't have me after-hours gambling like that. Also, he knows how much money I make and you can't

1:46.7

chiff's it. I mean he doesn't I don't know if anybody says it about but he's not a bad guy you know he's a good guy.

1:51.2

I know I would think that if I was Chip,

1:54.0

I wouldn't want to invite this guy to my card game

1:56.2

because I know what he makes every week

1:57.6

and I can't watch him lose $500 and then eat ice chunks
