All right, here we go.

Your scuba guide cuts off the boat engine and motions for you to hop into the water. You take one last big

breath of fresh air, then put on your mask and push off from the boat. The water is

calm and it's so clear that you can see the ocean floor far beneath your feet.

As you start to swim deeper, you see big schools of fish traveling together, darting in and out of a coral reef.

This is nothing like the swimming pool you go to back home.

You notice a school of clownfish pass underneath you. They look just like finding Nemo. But wait a second, what's that behind them?

You swim down to take a closer look at what you thought looked like a human arm, but that can't be.

You're miles from the shore. As you get closer, you realize it is an arm, but it's made of stone. It's a statue.

As you approach it, you find several other arms, and even a head poking out of the reef below.

There must be dozens, you think.

Then you realize that the ocean floor drops off steeply just in front of you. And as you peer down over the edge of the shelf,

you can just make out large stone walls and columns. It looks like a whole city square. What in the world is a city doing
