So I'm kind of wondering, by this point, it's like nine or ten in the, uh, in the, in the, in the, in the morning and I'm like, you know, wondering if I should keep on doing this or if I should head home.

As I'm sort of making this calculation, I get a ride request.

And I'm like, all right, we'll do this one for sure.

Pull up to the house.

Wait for longer than I would like for uh, for the initial, um, you know,

like, uh, contact. But a woman walks out with a trash bag full of shoes,

puts the shoes in my car, turns around and says, I got to go get my stuff. And like, you know,

before she can, before I can say anything,

she's off. But I'm like, is this your stuff? But anyways, so, uh, she goes back in,

takes a really fucking long time to get her stuff. And like, like, long enough that if it had,

if I didn't have this bag of shoes in there and she just hadn't come out by this time, I would have canceled the ride. I don't got fucking time to wait around on these. You don't get like, you get paid like 10 cents a minute to sit there. I think I've complained about this before. So you guys might, might already be aware of this. But a long wait is fucking obnoxious. And the app gives you, I believe, uh, I believe this was a lift ride and the, and Lyft app gives you a five minutes. And then if they're not there after five minutes, the app is like has a big red mark on the screen and says like fucking cancel on them, let's go. We got places to be. Uh, but I'm, I'm like, I don't know, because you got a call on Lyft in order to cancel.

Like, it won't let you do it until you've given them a ring. So I kind of thought about, like, you know, just having it, you know, it doesn't know what you say on that conversation. So I just

kind of call and be like, you know, how are you doing today? And she's like, fine. And then I'm like, hang up and then fucking go. But I did not do that. That would have been a kind of a slimy thing to do. And I did not do it. I just waited like seven fucking minutes for this lady. And, you know, I, that's, that's not going to hit my 20 dollars an hour if i'm earning 10 cents a minute

you can do that math it uh it doesn't work out but anyways so she eventually comes out with two

more trash bags uh throws them in the uh in the back seat and then uh gets in and she is bawling
