Mel, Mel, we have a great interview today with Chris and Emily Norton.

Tell me about it. Oh man, this guy is Chris and Emily Norton.

Oh man, this guy is probably one of the most inspiring people I've ever met.

Did you ever watch, did you ever watch the show Friday Night Lights? No, I've had so many people recommend it, but I've actually

never watched it. Oh, I spent a lot of time watching that show because at the time that we moved to Indianapolis,

I was coaching football. And so the first episode of that show if any of you guys are

Friday night lights lovers you'll remember Jason Street who ends up getting

injured because he made a bad tackle. This guy, Chris Norton, is like the real life version of

Jason Street. And he, I mean, most inspiring guy I've ever met I think because in

college he ends up making a tackle wrong and

becomes a quadriplegic. Oh wow. And so he is bound to a wheelchair and he does

keynote speaking all over the place. He and his wife have just are just about to release

this incredible book called The Seven Longest Yards. So in this interview we actually split it into two

parts because it was so rich, so good. So in these interviews we talk about his

handicap and trying to recover from all of that stuff. We talk about depression

that both he and his wife had to battle through. We talk about fostering, can you believe they also became foster parents?

Like this is ultimately inspiring. So you've got to listen. It's going to be such a good interview with them. Wow that sounds like a great
