anything so MDD we finally had I wouldn't say it's a fundamental break but an inflection point in the

relationship between the Biden administration and Israel of course the rhetoric has

been getting steadily more intense from the

administration against Israel, Biden at that press conference.

Well, what was it? The Robert Herr press conference where he said Israel has gone way too far and they've been warning Israel about going in Tarafa.

It's not clear that Israel has gone fully into Rafa. They have started some at least limited operations and the

administration has paused weapons shipments with threats of more where that's come from if Israel actually goes all the way in, what do you make of it?

Well, on one level, you know, one way you can look at this is it's it's somewhat typical for American

presidents to run out of patients with Israel and start putting a collar on it.

You know, we saw Condoleezza Rice under the George W Bush administration during the

Second Intifada, you know, kind of give the Israeli Prime Minister, whatever it was, 60 days, and say like, okay, be better for everyone if this ended sooner rather than later. We've seen in

1982 Ronald Reagan put a six-year ban on cluster weapons sales to Israel after Congress

found that Israel used cluster munitions in a 1982 operation in Lebanon.
