Today we're going to be talking to Trita Parse, who is a bit of an expert on Iran, the

Middle East.

I have a lot of questions about Saudi Arabia, Iran.

I have a lot of questions about the weird semi-potential realignment that's going on in

terms of Venezuela.

I find that news fascinating.

So, yeah, he should really have a lot of pertinent and relevant information about that.

And by extension, kind of Ukraine and Russia as well.

Yeah, for sure.

He's just someone's soccer and I've relied on a lot for thinking about the Iran nuclear

deal and any of our sort of Middle Eastern wars.

And he will be great to dig into those topics.

I'm excited because I've never had the chance to dig in with him for like a full hour

and get all of his thoughts on the region.

So it should be really good.

Yeah, on the Iran nuclear deal in particular, I'm curious if he has the same reading that

I've had because I remember every time I covered that and I followed it very, very closely.

I was always astonished at how brazen the US would be.

Like we would violate the deal, pull out of the deal and then chastise them if they no

longer abide by the deal.

Yeah, right.
