bit of a special episode. Yeah, it's a bonus episode and on the phone with us right now

to be dumb over here. So thank you. Greg, why don't... First of all, thank you so much for joining

us today. Could you tell us a little bit about who you are and what makes you notable as it

pertains to Tupac and Biggie? Yes. Sure. I'm retired at LAPD detective. I was working out at

robbery homicide division back in 2006 when I got assigned to the Biggie Small cold case investigation.

And I was at the privilege of investigating that and trying to dig through the weeds of that cold

case to get to the fast of the case. Yeah. At the time that you were assigned to this case,

what was going through your head? Who did you think was behind the death or do you not even think

that way starting off? Yeah, it's best as an investigator to just have a clean slate and not to try

to draw four-john conclusions. It really, you have to stay objective and just say it could have

been anybody in order to keep your mind open to all the possibilities. And that was our investigative

strategy. We had to treat every theory that it could be true until it could be disproven.

And, you know, it's just kind of a general strategy that, hey, we don't know what happened,

but we're going to find out. Did you know right away the significance of what you were investigating?

If that makes sense. It does make sense. And no, I did not fully appreciate it until

until I got into the muck of it all. I didn't really realize. Really, even how popular they were,

if I wasn't from another school of hip hop, I didn't think that means it can,

that more and more I became really not only inspired, that motivated by how many people

cared about these guys and how important it was to try to print some closure to the case.
