We're fortunate enough to have a dog park here in East Nashville.

It's a little neighborhood area over in Shelby Park.

They have a fenced off section where you bring in a bunch of dogs and they just

run around, chase each other and wrestle and get their y-ya's out and they tend to behave

a hell of a lot better when you take them home. But I'd bring Russell over there just about every

day and he was running around. I was standing there just a few days ago and I noticed this little baby.

It was a toddler, little bitty kid, not really sure what the age was, but he could barely walk.

He's just waddling around and he was holding onto something.

And I didn't know what it was, but I went a little closer.

When I got up there, there's dogs running around everywhere.

You know, crazy dogs having a good time.

And there's this little toddler standing there holding a bag of pork rinds.

I can't see what could possibly go wrong.

I'm sitting here in my living room in East Nashville.

This is a personal journal.

This is a bit of an experiment.

I like to say right up front that I haven't the slightest idea what I'm doing, but I decided to do it anyway. This show was founded with the idea that there are only two people in art that matter. There's a creative individual and the person experiencing it. And everything else is an artificial filter. This is a way for me to share things with you guys without any filters whatsoever.

My guess this week is Brian Heneman.

Brian is a singer, guitar player, a songwriter, and a band called the Bottle Rockets.
