So we got a new Eastman's Elevated podcast for you.

So today we have a guest that comes all the way from the other side of the world in Australia.

His name is Craig Hales. So I met Craig about six months ago or so, and I just always really enjoyed our

conversations and our correspondence. He's just a real intelligent guy that has a passion for

bow hunting. And he has a passion for bow hunting his homeland there in Australia, and he also

just loves to travel to the States and take on the adventure out here

out west.

And so he's been out hunting elk three different times.

He came out this year to New Mexico, just had a great hunt out there.

And he's got an IBEX tag for later down in New Mexico.

So he's going to be returning back.

But just a great approach to hunting.

We talk about his New Mexico hunt, lessons he learned,

how he'd go about the hunt, you know, mistakes he made, things he did right. And then we talk about

all different hunts around the states and we talk about what hunting means to us. And then we get

into hunting Australia. We talk about all the different species

he has there. We talk about the brown snakes, which really freak me out, the different spiders he

has and different creepy crawlies that can get you out there, different challenges. We talk about

his buffalo that he has out there. And in Australia is just this, this wild place with some of the

most vast backlands anywhere in the world, you know. So it was a really cool conversation.
