Shadow Puppets, an analysis of a Game of Thrones, scenario eight, in which George R.R. Martin

gets his horror on as everything, oh my God, everything collapses around Danny, personally,

politically, and of course, Emmett, of course, is going to happen magically too, isn't it?

My favorite part, as always.

And yeah, this is one of those chapters, and I know we say this a lot in book one,

that I just so vividly remember my first time through,

and it just hooked me in so strongly.

And I was like, well, I have to read book two now in book three and whatever else is

available.

I was just so into how George is writing this world.

It's a really good chapter. I was kind of shocked myself, rereading it. And, you know, it's kind of

I've been shocked a lot of times in rereading Danny's chapters in the Game of Thrones because

I'm always like just waiting for her to get to her Storm of Swords arc, which is one of my

favorites in the book. And of course, get into her at Dance with Dragons Ark, which is my ultimate favorite

Danny arc in a song of ice and fire.

But I'm really kind of surprised as we're going through a Game of Thrones, how compelling

everything about her is to include even, yes, Emmett, the magic part of it.

More of my area than yours, sir, I know, but I think we're going to have a lot of fun talking about, just like we have a lot of fun talking about the battle chapters that are more per view.
