saw on the pitch. And the referee, I think, was so caught up in that, that sweet moment that he

just forgot to blow the whistle. Only possible explanation, my friends, I do want to let you know that

this podcast is not just going to be a referendum on refereeing because that's not the purpose.

This was a frustrating draw. The Premier League is hard. An away draw is not a catastrophe. It is

certainly a disappointment based on the way we started. And I think that these are sometimes the

hardest pods for me personally, because we could just

spend the whole pod being, oh, the referee took it from us. And like, there's certainly justification

to that view. But that would deny us the opportunity to look at the things we can control.

And my argument would be control what you can. And what you can control is your play. The manager

after the match said, we didn't do the simple things. He said, I have no complaints. I think he was saying that because he knows there will be complaints and they will be discussed and he won't need to bring them up. And we will certainly touch on them. But let's try to have both the ability to say, hey, the referee did a bad job and ask the questions about what in this game could have been done differently,

might have needed to be done differently to make the one point, the three points.
