Summary

An overview of the structure and function of the nervous system, including a discussion of the autonomic and somatic divisions of the peripheral nervous system, the spinal cord, and the brain. I discuss the major regions and structures of the brain, including the brainstem, the cerebellum, the cerebral cortex, and various subcortical structures. I'm your host, James Fodor.

0:41.4

In this episode, we're going to look at the different components of the nervous system,

0:45.5

including the peripheral nervous system and the central nervous system.

0:48.4

We'll talk about the spinal column, the cerebral spinal fluid,

0:52.6

and there will be a particular focus on the brain,

0:54.6

so we'll look at the anatomy of the brain, the different regions of the brain, including

0:57.6

the forebrain and the hind brain, the brain stem. We'll talk about the different regions
