So, MBD, I was meaning to post this yesterday before the speech, but to my regret I didn't

because I would have been proved correct but I just thought the the bar for

Biden on the speech was so low that there's really no way he wasn't gonna pass it

it's all you have to do basically stand there for an hour read from the teleprompter a speech you've been practicing for weeks and

He clearly you know there's an emphasis on being being not just feisty as I said beforehand but fiery even he shouted

his way through most of the speech still seemed to me like a very old man who's not really up to this but you could just look at the

the glowing faces of the Democratic members of Congress just delighted that he had

crossed the low bar. Yeah I I mean, it's an extremely low bar, you know, you can tell it's a low bar, you know, just by your own sense of watching it.

I mean, I don't know about anyone else but I had a like a sick feeling in the in

the half hour leading up to the speech you know that something horrible will happen like

he will fall like one of his limbs will become unstitched from his body and just dropped to the floor like he just seems he has seemed so decrepit and in fact that that's rather the point right

I think Marco Rubio called it a proof of life speech.
