Summary

Yeah, we know what you’re thinking. First of all: Men’s flyweight pay per view main event? Second of all: Who the hell is Kai Asakura? We get it. From 15,000 feet, maybe UFC 310 doesn’t look like the greatest PPV of the year … and it’s not. But you know what? It’s actually a pretty deep fight card. Not only do you get to see the former two-time Rizin (Risin’? Risen?) bantamweight champ Asakura drop to 125-pounds and fight for the title against Alexandre Pantoja in his UFC debut, but you get to see Shavkat THAT BOY GOOD Rakhmonov and Ian (Machado!) Garry square off in a battle of undefeated prospects. Plus, you got Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov (for the interim interim interim heavyweight title, maybe) and Bryce Mitchell vs. Kron Gracie (uh, wut?) as well as appearances by such luminaries as Nate THE TRAIN Landwehr (If he doesn't lose, he'll probably win!), Vicente Luque (thankfully NOT fighting Nick Diaz), Aljamain Sterling (fighting on the prelims for some reason) and Chris Weidman (still fighting for some reason). Las Vegas. Of course, you got your men's flyweight main event of the champion, Alexander

Pantosia, going to square off with UFC newcomer, Kai Asakura in from Risen, and then your

co-main event, Shavkat, Rakmanov, and Ian Machado. Gary in a welterweight contender fight.

We had to shuffle the lineup for this one not too long ago.

And so maybe we come in with a little bit of an under the radar pay-per-view.

I wanted to start us off this week with this question from our guy's chest pants shoes because i feel like it gets

to the root of the matter he says if a flyweight headlines the last ufc pay-per-view of the year

We also have the undefeated prospect bowl in the co-main in addition to a semi-number one contender fight at 145 with Sterling versus Evilev.

But yet this weekend seems to be quiet as kept regarding media

fan noise. Do you feel the same? I guess for starters, Ben, I feel like it's natural for this

pay-per-view to fly under the radar a little bit first, because as I said, you had to scramble the

main event several weeks ago. It was supposed to be Shavkat,

2:17.7

Rachmanov, and Bilal Muhammad. Belal Muhammad had to back out. So now you have a bit of a redo here.

Second, you know, the UFC's put on a ton of great events this year and not all of them can be
