0:00.0	I had a crazy travel week. My buddies in the bottle rockets invited me to do some shows with them.
0:17.0	We went up into the upper Midwest in the dead winter and there was a whole lot of snow and it was very cold.
0:23.6	I believe it was two below zero in Madison, Wisconsin.
0:27.6	We played in Madison, St. Louis, Chicago, Champaign, Illinois.
0:32.6	The first gig was in Columbia, Missouri, and I was driving up from Nashville. And it started snowing and had freezing rain and ice on the roads while I'm on the highway.
0:43.3	I drove three hours and got less than 100 miles.
0:46.3	And somewhere in Kentucky, I pulled off the road to get gas.
0:51.3	When I went to get back on the road, the highway was closed down and
0:55.6	they wouldn't let me back on because of all the ice. So I actually missed that gig. I wasn't
1:01.5	able to make it to Columbia, Missouri. And I apologize to those of you who wanted to see me there.
1:06.5	It's the first time I remember ever missing a gig, but the rest of the gigs were great,
1:11.6	including one of the best gigs I've ever had in Chicago,
1:15.0	just wonderful people.
