Renegate Talk Radio. Good morning. It is morning time in Las Vegas. And hi, this is Betsy Bell. And how? Can this

happen? It is a question today.

Normally I try to tell my audience because my audience is so special to me that it's a

declarative question.

It is a declarative statement to say, how can this happen? However, today it has become a

question. And this show is about America. Most of my shows are about America, but this one has a

special emphasis.

And my question today is, is God an American?

And then the first part of our show is about confession.

The second part of our show is about forgiveness.

And the third part of our show is love. So put your seatbelts on

and hang on to your tidy whitties. This is going to get a little bit about who we really are as people. And I am struggling today to come to the words with what I

experienced this weekend. I failed to come to the words that can express the darkness, the horror,

the disbelief, and then to try to make any sense of it at all.

But I am back today because I did come to some startling conclusions.

The best that America can give to this country is a lot less than what we are giving.

We cannot continue to a place where ethics, morals, and the human conscience doesn't matter. At worst, we will all remain in the human form we were created in. But at our best, we will call on all our sensibilities to try to make sense

of the defenseless. We cannot be triggered into making

a defense that isn't there. We have to stop that. We have to condemn it. You cannot justify

lawlessness in any form. You cannot give a platform to your enemies that want you to go

away, conform and shut up. The time for action has passed us by.
