So listen up. We're going to start today with good old Joe. He is touting his infrastructure bill in his campaign for re-election.

He needs something to tout about, man, and this is as good as any, because he's trying.

Texas Republican Ted Cruz argues that the administration has highly politicized the law,

including by encouraging projects funded by the statute to post signs, giving credit to President Joe Biden.

Who else?

He demand, according to a letter from Cruz provided to Politico, he pointed to

guidelines posted by the White House,

specifying that campaign signs for Biden's reelection say,

in large letters, project funded by President Joe Biden's bipartisan infrastructure law. So the campaign signs for his reelection are posted by his law.

Oh my goodness.

I'm correcting the record.

To partisan infrastructure law.

I write, said Ted, to refer this to you for investigation as a possible violation of the Hatch Act,

federal law that broadly prohibits using taxpayer dollars for campaign activity.

Who would have thought of that, really? So the candidates not

supposed to use federal funds for campaign activity. Now, why would that be? Uh, your guess is as good as

mine, although I'm not sure that any law today is being followed.
