0:37.8	Well, thank you for having me on your show. My name is Vic Ferrari or I'm a retired NYPD detective turned to author.
0:44.8	I did 20 year career with the New York City Police Department.
0:47.8	I was born and raised in the Bronx.
0:50.1	I've worked in a litany of units.
0:52.4	My last 10 years I was a detective in the NYPD's
0:55.4	auto crime division where I worked on chop shops, organized crime,
0:59.4	exporting of stolen vehicles out of the country. I worked in a lot of units. I also worked in
1:04.4	narcotics and then you know after a 20 year run I was in my early 40s I decided to
1:08.8	retire and I got into writing and I just started writing out these behind the scenes books about my former employer.
