Every summer our esteemed hero Dr. Floyd takes a two-week vacation to his private cabin in Maine. During this time he instructs his young protégédédard and his faithful robot

companionships that he is not to be bothered at all. No phone calls, no emails, no letters, no

contact with the outside world whatsoever.

We now find Dr. Floyd back from his vacation,

feeling quite refreshed and being picked up

at the Sutter River City train depot by Dr. Grant.
