Hello and welcome to the our co-host, our co-host, Mel I am your host Davy and joining

me Mel our co-host Mel I am so curious as we get into this episode because it's been a couple months now

since you have made a pretty big transition you and Charlie have stepped into the

the leadership role of this church and I'm I don't think we've talked about how things

are going what's happening with that how's a transition been yeah Davey for sure

it's going really well We feel very called to where the Lord has this. We're really enjoying it.

It's, you know, it's been all things considered a fairly smooth transition. We're learning a lot. I mean I think

we're learning right now just how to say no that there's so many needs and in

order to protect and have margin in our family we have to say no to some really good things and that I didn't realize that that was so hard for me until I had to do it more often. You know?

Oh man.

And I think one thing Charlie and I, we kind of laugh about this,

but kind of also not really, but just things that we kind of think about or I don't want to

say stress about because Charlie really doesn't get that stressed out things that we

didn't really ever think about until he came into this role.

And so I never looked around at like church attendance

or activities or programs that we should probably look into.

And now I feel like there's this this way of ownership and it's just been so good both of us can really arresting that

that this is the Lord's Church and that our kingdom role is to just be faithful

with what he's given us and to walk with God and that the rest is up to him and so

that feels really really good but yeah that's kind of what we've
