I'm an insider reporter, so I do a lot of general entertainment coverage, but I literally only

have my job because of Game of Thrones. Really? So, yeah, you don't know this story?

I think I read something that you put online somewhat recently, but I think our listeners

probably don't know the story.

Yeah, so back in 2014, I was hired as a temp at a media company called Business Insider,

and I was just like an office assistant.

And at the same time, I was just super obsessed with a song vice and fire.

And then by proxy, Game of Thrones, I had read all the books back in 2011 and big joke on me.

But I was like, oh, I guess I'll just watch the show to pass time and wait until the next book comes out.
