Hello there and welcome to episode six of the Victor Prep vocab

podcast I'm Sam in Southern California and amazingly enough it rained this weekend and for those

who don't know it never rains it it really never rains in southern California

and there's someone that comes from England where it always rains

it's actually really really nice when it rains here because I actually get a little

tired of the never-ending sunny days. I know that sounds a bit weird, but it

really does get a little monotonous sometimes when it's just sunny every single day and there's always a blue sky, there's never a cloud in it,

it's always the same every day. So for me, last night seeing a rainstorm and clouds, well it just felt great, so I had to share that with you.

Now, our previous words from episode 5 were intrepid, implacable, inert and sully.

Intrepid implacable inert and sully

So inert that means having no power, no power to make action or make change.

In chemistry it could mean something that doesn't react with anything else.

Or it could be a drug like a sugar pill that you take that doesn't do anything.

Implicable, that means something or someone that cannot be appeased or pacified like if you make

someone angry you cannot calm them down they are implacable. Intrepid, that means very brave and fearless, someone like

Indiana Jones or James Bond. Sully, that means to make dirty, to soil, to disdain. So there was a previous words. Now we're going to move on to some new words.

Our four new words for this episode are Ma are multifarious, flout, and lumber.

So let's start with Mar.

Mar is spelled M-A-R, quite simple, and it means to damage something or spoil something.
