All right. Hello and welcome back to Colonial Outcast, episode six. We're going to be talking about the humanitarian situation in Gaza. This is kind of a different tack for us. Ever since I went live on social media and talking about the situation over there, it's been from the military and geopolitics niche. So we're going to be

0:22.7

delving into that for the first time today. I'm joined by co-host Mark Wayne and Zena Akele. She is a

1:28.2

I'm going to play a short clip by, I think it's NBC from about 10 days ago.

1:34.2

The situation has deteriorated since then, but the general principles,

1:38.6

well, the general circumstances haven't changed.

1:41.5

However, this is just, again, a demonstration of how the media is painting

1:46.0

this in a broad brush and then we're with a broad strokes. And then we're just going to jump in.

1:50.0

All right. So let me pull this up. All right, sending it.

1:56.0

Tonight, desperation growing, a crowd of displaced Palestinians and Rafa descending on an aid truck.

2:03.6

These are familiar scenes now as hunger grips the entire population.
