We will stand and we will fight and we will die after government tries to

press the Bungies. Investigators describe Jared and Amanda Miller as anti-

government and on a mission to kill police officers. They basically stated that

this is the beginning of the revolution.

The Bundy Family story spans so many years and involves so many people that at

times I've lost perspective on what's really at stake here. Sitting in court

hearings and listening to the same theories and stories over and over again,

it's easy to become numb to the weight of the Bundy's actions. But there's a lot

on the line. When the BLM went to round up Cliven Bundy's cattle in 2014, they

put out this map. It showed the area they'd closed because Cliven's cows were

roaming free on the range. The map has a large red area with diagonal lines on it.

Its eastern border is the Muddy River. To the north is Interstate 15 and then it

stretches west to the Virgin Mountains. It's hundreds of square miles of

territory boiled down to little more than some red ink. So on one of our last

days in Nevada, producer Ryan Hassan I decided to go there and see it in person.

So where are we? Not really sure. Somewhere I'm the gold butte now.

I'm on the monument. What if that was a tortoise and I was just stuffed on it?

It's cow poop. Gold butte is a sprawling desert landscape covered in scrub

brush and cacti. You can see Lake Mead when you first enter the monument, shimmering

in the distance like a mirage. But we didn't come here for the awesome views. We

came here to see for ourselves whether it matters where Cliven Bundy's cattle

are grazing. We're two or three miles into the gold butte
