Hello and welcome to another episode of Mindfulness Plus. I'm your host, Thomas McConkey. Thanks so much for listening today. If you listened to our episode last week, you heard they introduced the theme of Advent.

Advent, this Latin term that we've brought into modern English, and it has this meaning of a coming and arrival.

And very broadly speaking in the language the universal language of

wisdom what is coming what is arriving all the time whether we realize it or not we could say is

greater light greater love greater life into our lives into into the collective life, into the cosmos.

So I want to, since we're, you know, in Advent season here in December, I wanted to take

time to record another episode, kind of reflecting on Advent. And particularly this theme around when we when we wait and we

watch expectantly for greater life greater love greater light greater truth to pour into the world

when we put ourselves in that posture we actually find that it changes things.

I don't know how it works.

I don't have any grand metaphysical claims about how it works, but I know myself,

when I put myself in an attitude and a posture to receive more light, more truth,

it seems to just happen.

Life's crazy like that.

It's a fascinating text.
