Hello my name is Chris and I'm Jason and this is the Talking Dead a podcast dedicated to the

AMC TV series The Walking Dead. Hello everybody welcome back to the talking dead we are back after a relatively short

absence considering our track record did we have an absence well the last

episode was what two weeks ago on the 15th I believe.

That's not an absence that's an interval.

That's an interval see exactly the one before that though might have been sometime in

January or February so it had been a little while before that, but now with the show

kicking into high gear, so to speak, there's lots more news, lots more stuff

happening and it's very exciting. It is very exciting. It's very exciting.

What have we got for news?

Well, we jumping right into news?

Let's jump right into news.

Okay, we've got in brief, we've got some casting,

we've got some potential casting, and we've got some other stuff. But let's start small.

The first thing I wanted to mention is that Robert Kirkman, the writer and creator of The Walking Dead,

recently gave a keynote speech at the Comics

Pro annual members meeting. Now what I can find out about Comics Pro the

organization because I had never heard of them is that they are a professional retail

organization so if you're a comic book retailer you can join this organization and

then get together with other retailers and stay up to date on comic retailing

news I suppose.

That sounds fantastic.
