Yeah and I think that's really important and tends to be a little bit more complex so a lot of the doctors like yourself really get it, but it's a little bit harder to wrap around some people's thinking because the insulin resistance, you hear this term a lot and it's because

it's sort of what's considered the bottom line of the metabolic syndrome which includes type 2 diabetes and high

blood pressure and so on and the term itself is merely refers to the fact that insulin, so insulin is a hormone and it's a

normal hormone when you eat, insulin goes up assuming you eat a blend of the

three macronutrients, protein, fat, and carbs.

So insulin goes up and your body really should be storing that food energy.

So what happens is that the glucose goes into the cell, the cells start to use the glucose,
