Marianne's guest is Seb Alex, who is an animal activist in Beirut, Lebanon. Seb started his animal activism career with a bang,

giving talks all over Europe. But when COVID hit, he changed up his tactics and focused on online

activism and on working on some amazing projects, many of which grew out of the Lebanese-vegan's

Animal Rights Center.

I can promise you you are going to be blown away by the activist scene in Beirut and what they

are accomplishing as well as by Seb's incredibly thoughtful approach to animal rights.

It was really interesting.

I really learned a lot, but I am so jealous of this animal rights center that they have. I mean, I won't do any spoilers because you shouldn't listen to find out about it. But we all need to have a building. We all need a building. Just changes everything.

I remember being at the Animal Rights Center building in Berkeley, and it was cool.

You know, it's true.

We get very used to this sort of online way of existing, and there is something very special

and powerful about a physical space.

That is cool.
