starting zone the podcast of a World of Forecraft people who play it.

Today is September 14th, 2023 and my name is Spencer. the my co-host, Jason Lucas. Jason, how are you doing this fine Thursday?

Spencer, hello, I'm doing well.

It's been actually a pretty busy few days

of World of Warcraft for me since we last spoke on Tia Z air and yeah I mean we're now into the kind of

swing of things with 10-17 and we got 10.2 PTR up and running and we got as we speak we're just a couple hours away from actually raid testing opening up and we get a weekend of Mythic Plus testing coming up so all of the wheels are in motion and it seems like there's a lot more stuff on 10.2 PTR faster than I would normally expect from a PTR build, but maybe that has to do with the fact that they held the PTR back a little bit longer to give 10.1.7 a couple days to breathe.

Yeah, I'm curious whether or not that's what it was. They just had more things slated.

They're just getting stuff into people's hands faster, which is great.

So I am glad that that is what is going on.

Did you, I mean, you must have gotten up to a whole bunch this past week World Warcraft.

Do you want to talk about something?

Yeah, well, I mean, I think last week we were talking about time walking Old War, right?

And I mentioned like, you know, I tried to do it years ago and it really didn't, it didn't feel too great with a small group but you know maybe we'll give it a shot since the

You know the event is back where you do the quest every time the event rolls around then you get a piece of gear and

maybe some cosmetics so we had like I don't know 14 or 16 or something a pretty

far cry from 25 which is I'm pretty sure like time walking old war is the 25 man version of

old war just kind of you know retuned we had like no issues at all really except for flame Leviathan was weird because the vehicles are weird they just behave weird and they scale weird and they feel weird

But once we got through that everything else pretty much just fell over so that was cool it was fun to go back in there and you know just hang out in that space and and go back through that raid and I think we finished up with Yogg within like 90 minutes and when we started even with kind of the issues we had getting out of the gate with the vehicles.

So that was fun. It was a good time with everybody and somebody in a group got memoron's head from the box from the event quest so yeah

I was banging on with that guess yeah and we heard from some other people who did it with with their groups and people were getting
