As always, the new season folks, well it's upon us because the community shield is

supposed to the community shield is taking place tomorrow Saturday and that is

seen as the traditional season curtain riser if you like Arsenal versus Liverpool

FA Cup winners against the title winners. So you know it's it's here and it

doesn't feel like last season ended more than about three seconds ago.

Mickal Artetta was asked today at his press conference I'm recording Thursday

obviously he was asked what's the match fitness like? What's the match sharpness

like? And he said, well we had to train in sessions so which just about tells you

what we're going to be like tomorrow and really it tells you how seriously we

should take this game because the preparations that we were putting in place

for the new season which starts on September 12th we're going to have the

community shield this weekend there are internationals next week. So in terms of

getting players fit getting players ready dealing with players coming back from

holidays and having to quarantine and and everything else this is going to be a

really weird difficult start to the new season and even though it feels like

we kind of wiped the slate clean a bit in terms of how we ended last one the

weirdness and the surrealness and the strangeness just continues going into this

season so whatever happens at Wembley tomorrow I think we have to frame it in

this particular context if we win great if we don't win if we make mistakes if
